We continue with other parts of the body that our kids need to learn about.
Filipino Word: English Word/Equivalent:
Leeg: Neck
Likod: Back
Balikat: Shoulder
Dibdib: Chest
Pusod: Belly Button
Tiyan: Stomach
Baywang or Bewang: Waist
Balakang: Hips
Puwet: Behind/Buttocks/Ass
Here are some sentences we can make with the above words:
Pag maitim ang leeg ng buntis, lalaki daw ang magiging anak.
If the neck of a pregnant woman gets darker, her baby will be a boy.
Kamutin mo nga yung likod ko at makati.
Please scratch my back as it is itchy.
Nagkibit balikat lang siya nang sinabihan ko siya.
