Here are just a few more body parts that your children can learn about:

Filipino Word: English Word/Equivalent

Utak: Brain

Isip: Mind

Puso: Heart

Baga: Lungs

Bato: Kidney

Atay: Liver

Here are some sentences you can make with the words mentioned earlier:

Kailangan gamitin ang utak paminsan-minsan.

We need to use our brains more sometimes.

Sikapin natin maging mga Pilipino sa isip, salita, at sa gawa.

We should strive to be true Filipinos in mind, speech, and action.

Dapat nating alagaan ang ating puso.

We must learn to take care of our heart.

Huwag kang manigarilyo. Masama yan sa baga.

Don’t smoke. It’s bad for your lungs.

Huwag kang magpigil sa pag-ihi. Baka magkasakit ka sa bato.

Urinate when you feel like doing so. Otherwise, you may develop kidney problems.

Mahilig ba siyang uminom kaya nagkasakit sa atay?

Was his liver problem due to drinking a lot of alcohol?
