God’s Mind
I am sharing here with you an SMS message that I received from a friend recently. I will spell out the words properly so you can appreciate the message fully:
“The mind of God is different than the thoughts of man. As we follow Him, we discover that we lose to gain, surrender to win, die to live, give to receive, serve to reign, scatter to reap. In weakness, we are made strong. In humility, we are lifted up. In emptiness, we are made full. God bless.”
Am I glad that God’s mind does not work like mine. Otherwise, I would have missed out on a lot of meaningful and worthy lessons in life.
Are you presently struggling with something? Do you wish that you were in a different situation altogether? No matter how bleak your present situation seems to you, you are being trained and/or prepared for something. God does not make mistakes. God’s plans are the best. Just trust Him. Just listen. In hindsight, you will realize that it all of this was truly necessary.
