Text Messages for Trying Times
Everyone has a bad day every now and then. If that doesn’t happen to you, then you’re probably dead and can’t read this blog. =)
When difficult times come, we usually need our friends to comfort us or listen to our sob stories. Friends don’t need to be near to do that. Sometimes, unwittingly, they help us just by sending us appropriate text messages for trying times. Here are two that I got recently which were very well-appreciated:
“God stands by you when you are down and out, guides you when you think of quitting, inspires you when things seem confusing. God knows. God sees. God bless! 
“ – When all seems lost, just hang on. God has a plan for you even if you do not feel that that is so.
“God doesn’t waste suffering. If He leads us into impossible spots, He will deliver us in His own time, in His own way and 4 His name’s sake. God bless. =)” – What a comforting thought when all is difficult, right? If God could part the Red Sea and rise from the dead to give us new life, shouldn’t you trust Him with your troubles too?
