Thoughts and Texts
Sending and receiving text messages is a great way to keep in touch with our friends and this is especially true among Pinoys! Over the past few weeks, moreso during the days leading into Holy Week and Easter, here are some of the messages I received.
1. wen u make choices follow God not ur own way 4 if ur own way fails u regret but w/God u can smile & say…HE knows best. – good thing to keep in mind when things don’t work as planned and that often happens! =)
2. He had no servants, yet they called HIM Master. No degree, they called HIM Teacher. No medicines, they called HIM Healer. No army yet kings feared HIM. HE won no military battles yet HE conquered the world. HE committed no crime , yet they crucified HIM. HE was buried in a tomb yet HE lives 2day. Should we not entrust our lives to HIM? God bless. – Amazing, right? Great to have a God like that. What do you call HIM?
3. No one has ever died like Jesus Christ, bec He was Life itself. No one has expiated for sin like Him, for He was purity itself. Empti enim estis presio magno. (1 Cor 6:20), You and I have been bought at a great price. – a belated Happy Easter everyone. The next time you’re not feeling too good about yourself or the way things are going, just remember — Jesus died on the cross for you.
The next time you are inspired to send a text message to a friend or anyone else, just do. It only costs a peso and you never know whether your friend may be needing encouragement or inspiration right at that very moment. Believe me, it will be appreciated. =) To all my friends, thanks for all your messages. Keep them coming.
