7. Time. – How strict are they with time? Are they open to flexi time? Are they output oriented? Do they require you to time in, time out, and really complete 8 hours? Is it relatively easy to go on leave for emergencies, school activities, etc.? Do the people there think you don’t have a life out of the office?
8. Corporate culture – How are people in the organization like? What is the philosophy of the owners? Of the key officers? The longer I have worked for organizations, I have become very sensitive to personal styles of specific individuals and how such influences how people in the company respond.
So, before you take that job, stop, look and listen. You are sure to learn something valuable and this will help you make the right choice or decision. Good luck!
